Forklift Man Cages

Forklift Man Cages/working platforms, offer an easy and safe way to perform awkward high access tasks using a standard forklift. Working platforms offer a safe working load of 350kg, this forklift safety cage easily carries two people and their equipment. Working platforms can be used to pack, take stock, maintain and organize your warehouse. Elevate occupants safely to complete work or repairs at high levels.

Limax Technical Services provides all necessary documentation required by the Department of Labour to certify the safety cage/working platform at your premises.

FORKLIFT WORKING PLATFORM FEATURES

UNIVERSAL FIT

  • These working platforms/forklift cages accept 70mm thick, 160mm wide forks
  • Fork pockets are spaced 1m apart and sizes may vary according to special orders
  • Transportation fork pockets are standard equipment
  • Steel pins secure the frame behind the heel of the forks on the forklift cage

GUARDRAIL

When manufacturing working platforms/man cages, heavy duty 50mm square tubing that exceeds the 100kg capacity requirement is used. The top rail of the forklift cage is located at 1.2m high.

GATE

These forklift cages/working platforms are built standard with dual locking access gate with safety stop. The gate on the cage/working platform swings inward for safety.

FLOOR

The floor of the forklift cage/working platform is fitted with heavy duty expanded metal or checkered plate for longer life and durability.

MAST PROTECTION SCREEN

Mast protection screens are a standard feature.

ORDER PICKING CAGES

These order picking cages can be used with most of the popular Stock Pickers in the market.
